The study of weapons aims not only at the use of the weapon itself but also at the strengthening of the whole body and improvement of some skills that would help with bare hands in having more effective movements.

LUK DIM BOON KWAN (form with long stick)

The weapon used to practice this form is a long wooden stick(about 2.70 meters). A training of this type makes it possible to develop the ability to channel the force along a predetermined line and increase power and control. It is also helpful to increase peripheral sensitivity and improve performance in Chi Sao.

BART CHAM DAO (Form with butterfly knives)

The form is practiced with a pair of butterfly knives with a blade of about 40 cm. In general, this form is learned in the final part of the study. It increases the strength in the arms and particularly strengthens the wrists and increases the dexterity and the ability to drive the arms in independent movements. Also it serves to emphasize the principles already presented in previous forms and integrate them with new technical elements clarifying the lines of attack from some of the most important techniques of the style.
